Mora Segal

Board Chair | Co-Founder, Leading Now

Mora Segal is a Managing Director at A-Street, and organization that seeds and scales innovative K-12 student learning and achievement solutions for students, families and schools. She is also Co-Founder of Leading Now. Throughout her career, Mora has focused on helping education leaders build the systems and support needed to improve opportunities and outcomes for students.

Previously, Mora served as CEO of Achievement Network (ANet), a national nonprofit organization that partners with schools and districts to advance high-quality instruction in historically underserved communities. Under her leadership, ANet expanded its support to thousands of schools nationwide through instructional leadership coaching, curriculum implementation, and professional learning.

Earlier in her career, Mora held leadership roles at College Summit (now PeerForward) and SchoolSports, later acquired by ESPN. She also served as an AmeriCorps member supporting refugee resettlement efforts and was selected as both a Coro Foundation Fellow and a Pahara-Aspen Fellow.

Mora earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree from Yale University. She lives in Newton, Massachusetts with her husband and two daughters.
